I'm a friendly country girl at heart, having grown up on a cattle station in Millaroo, west of Ayr.  My love of photography began as a child, snapping wildlife and birds - even if they often turned out as tiny specks once the film was developed (sorry mum!).  That passion never left me.

These days, I balance life as a full-time IT professional with my creative heartwork: photography.  From capturing treasured family memories to the beauty of landscapes and the professionalism of commercial shoots, photography is what keeps me grounded.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration and am lucky to share life with my wonderful husband, two grown boys, their partners and a beautiful granddaughter.  Through Melanie Napier Memories & Photography, I aim to create keepsakes you'll treasure - heartfelt, honest and full of life.
